FLSmidth spol. s. r. o. has been one of the key suppliers of equipment for the cement and mineral industry on the Czech market since 1990. The company is one of many branches of the multinational group FLSmidth A/S operating literally all over the world. The company's portfolio is very extensive – it consists of equipment for the collection of loose materials, the transport of materials by pipe mail for processing in the laboratory and last but not least, also equipment for the preparation of samples for subsequent analyzes in the laboratory or the analyzers themselves. FLSmidth uses K2 ERP in practically all areas of its business – from production itself to warehouse management, purchasing and sales to accounting and monitoring of individual projects. Important functions of the information system also include managerial reporting and controlling. The company also uses advanced notification settings alerting specific people to important changes in the ERP system.

- Evaluation of costs and revenues with breakdown into individual centers at the level of individual orders.
- Automatic import of BOMs and drawings from the system to Autodesk Vault.
- Complicated production trees, consisting of tens, sometimes even hundreds of semi-finished products.
- A system of cooperatives, where some parts of the production trees are produced in cooperation, and parts of the production tree are produced locally.

We use K2 ERP for the management and control of all processes related to the orders being processed, starting with the offer to the customer and ending with the shipment of the finished products and the subsequent financial evaluation. Due to the complexity of our facilities and the prevailing custom production, it is essential for us to have an information system that enables accurate and simple control over the material coverage and production status at the level of individual orders, which K2 ERP fulfills. In cooperation with K2 consultants, we also continuously work on streamlining and automating individual processes depending on the changing needs of the company, not only due to its growth.
